Awkwafina
Awkwafina started out as a American musician and rapper making sly songs that addressed questions of race and sexual identity with a comedic twist. Prior to her move into Hollywood her career, she had the opportunity to release a number of songs. Nora Lum was born to Chinese Koreans living from Forest Hills Queens. Her first exposure to music was through the instrument of trumpet. Her classical, jazz and hip-hop education began when she was just a teenager. While in college, she took classes in writing and women's studies. Then, she even had some time learning Mandarin in Beijing. Not until after graduation did she begin to concentrate on music. After becoming famous through the Internet, her song My Vag was a reaction to the song of Mickey Avalon's My Dick. It eventually made its way onto the debut album Yellow Ranger. Some other hits that went viral included queef, a body positive track and the eye-catching NYC Bitche$ hometown tour. The latter track was tied to Awkwafina's NYC Travel Guide for 2015, which was a travel guide. As a musician and an author on her resume she determined to pursue a third endeavor actor. In addition to early television shows like Girl Code and Tawk, she's also appeared in movies including Neighbors2Storks and Bad Rap. In the year 2018 she got a series of notable parts, including Dude Ocean 8 and Crazy Rich Asians. The EP came out in June.
